For gardeners - and non-gardeners - there is a lot going on in our area right through the year - festas, sagras, open days - take a look on the links below.

It is not always that easy though to source the plants and gardening supplies that are suited to dry gardens. But before reaching for the Amazon order, I have listed those suppliers whom I have found to be reliable, some very local and others further afield.

You may also be interested in meeting like-minded gardeners: the Mediterranean Garden Society has a very active branch in Italy and holds regular meetings, both in person and online. Their websites in English and Italian have a wealth of information and MGS members also receive a quarterly Journal.
